Hello! I’ll be mostly working off-screen but I’m keen to chat about domain names
Most people are familiar with domain names as the part of a web site URL that
comes after the https:, e.g. example.com
- do you have any domain names?
- if not, are you curious about registering a domain name?
- which TLD (top-level domains (TLDs))
- which registrar
- what do you use them for?
- websites / web servers
- other kinds of server
- Bluesky/ATProto handle

Using your own domain name is an inexpensive way of taking back control of the Internet
I use Cloudflare for technosoap.uk
- but keep in mind Cloudflare do offer other managed services that may not be as simple (or impossible) to move to another provider. If you avoid those other services, you’ll avoid lock-in.
